The Eucerin Hypersensitive Skin ranges offer a holistic skin care approach to manage each of the symptoms in this Hypersensitive Skin Triangle.
Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Soothing Care Dry skin is recommended for hypersensitive skin where the main symptom is an unpleasant skin feel with burning, stinging or itchiness but with no visible signs of redness. Applied after cleansing, it instantly calms and soothes dry, hypersensitive skin on the face, neck and décolleté giving long-lasting skin comfort and protection while special waxes in the cream leave skin feeling nourished and moisturised.
As hypersensitive skin is characterised by a compromised skin barrier this makes the underlying sensory fibres react faster and much stronger to stressors. This irritation causes the unpleasant sensations and redness typical in hypersensitive skin. This rich soothing care formula contains SymSitive*, the first active dermocosmetic ingredient that targets the root cause of skin's hyper-reactivity. SymSitive* effectively acts as a sensitivity regulator, lowering the activation of the sensitive sensory fibres in the epidermis.
Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Soothing Care Dry skin not only soothes hypersensitive dry skin instantly but, over time, it helps to protect the skin barrier and increase the skin's tolerance threshold. - Licochalcone A
Licochalcone A is a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing ingredient. It is derived from the root of the Chinese Licorice plant (Glycyrrhiza Inflata) which uses natural compounds to protect its cells from excessive sunlight. When used in skincare products, Licochalcone A works to reduce inflammation and neutralize free radicals that negatively influence skin cells and accelerate the aging process. It helps to protect the deeper epidermal skin layers from sun-induced effects.
